The AIRC can provide training in diverse career paths such as veterinary nurse, dog trainer, pet groomer or animal attendant (for people working in pet retailing outlets, boarding kennels and catteries, welfare organizations, veterinary surgeries or animal theme parks).

 

Animal Attendant

Animal Attendant is the name give to those working with animals in a variety different of industries.  These include pet retailing outlets, boarding kennels and catteries, welfare organisations, animal theme parks or dog training organisations. 

Those wishing to work as an Animal Attendant can study Certificate I in Animal Studies or if already employed, commence training in Certificate III in Companion Animal Services or Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services.
