The course
We all have oxygen – let’s use it!! This course discusses the importance and role of oxygen therapy and how to administer it effectively.
Case studies will be discussed and implemented to demonstrate causes of dyspnoea, oxygen administration and monitoring of the patient. A must for all general and specialist practice nurses.
Topics covered include:
- Relevant anatomy and physiology of respiratory system
- Respiratory assessment
- Delivering oxygen therapy
- Upper and lower respiratory tract disorders
- Illustration of principles with case examples
This course should take approximately six hours to complete.
The National Industry Advisory Group for Veterinary Nursing has allocated 6 CPD points to this continuing education activity.
