What are the course pre-requisites?  

Students must have completed Year 10 or be a mature aged student, however there is no specific pre-requisite knowledge required for entry. Student will need to arrange and complete 15 hours of work placement in an animal care facility such as a veterinary surgery, animal welfare establishment, grooming parlour, kennel or cattery. This work experience will assist with the learning process and consolidate theoretical knowledge.

How do I study for this Certificate level?

ACM10110 Certificate I in Animal Studies is conducted as a self-paced online course. Students will have access to the course for a period of six (6) months. Students are required to complete activities and assessments online (including multiple choice questions and online scenarios). Upon completion of all required course content, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and an Academic Transcript which documents their individual outcomes.
